My NBI Clearance renewed

I needed to renew my NBI clearance this year as part of the requirement for the renewal of our company’s permit in one of the government agencies. In the past years, I had been renewing my NBI clearance at the Park Square Makati.

This time, I renewed it at SM Mega Mall in Mandaluyong City, which is along the way home. I arrived at the Renewal Center at around 3:00 PM; and, the queues were still long they already reached the ground floor. There were three queues – payment, picture, and redemption. The renewal center is located at the basement under one of the stairs of building “B”. Seeing the long queues, I exercised first by walking and window shopping. At 4:00 PM, I returned to the center; and the queues were already short. The renewal process took me only 15 minutes to complete.

The cost to renew the NBI clearance is P115 only (plus P3.00 for the material to wipe the ink from your thumb).

After I renewed my clearance.

By the way, I saw this public announcement in the center, "Effective July 2008, you will need NBI Renewal Card to renew the NBI Clearance in mall outlets." Also, I saw a automated machine in the center. I think it’s where the NBI renewal card would be used. I will check on how to get the NBI clerance card and the procedures and blog about it soon.

when you renewed, did you have the old nbi clearance in form of a sheet of paper or card already?

hey guys kung mag pa renew kayo ng NBI clearance on saturday s Park square na kayo kumuha, wag s megamall kasi ang haba ng pila dun!
