My SSS salary loan check arrives

SSS loan check1 Eleven days after I filed my SSS Salary Loan application, I received my loan check already. The maximum loanable amount is P24,000.00. But, the net proceeds is P21,360 only (after deducting the advance interest and service fee). The loan is payable in two years at P1,050 per month. The salary deduction starts next month.

Now, I have the money to pay for my car insurance premium and life insurance premium totaling P19,500. What’s left of my loan is P1,860 only.

When I fully paid my salary loan two years ago, I didn’t renew it because of lack of SSS ID card. I wonder if somebody used it without my knowledge or authorization. There are rumors that when you didn’t avail of your loan, somebody else would.

hi tom,

how will i know if my salary loan is approve? our HR told me that she already filed my salary loan last week (Jan. 11). And when i checked my sss online today it said there:

* With active loan - renewal date : April 2011
* Invalid LG/LMS Record. No corresponding LMS Record for Check Dated : 20090114

Kindly advice.

Hi Ellen,

Just wait for two weeks. And, if the loan check doesn’t arrive by the last week of January, check it personally with the nearest SSS office.

I have an outstanding balance in my SSS salary loan. Simply because I lost my previous job, and my payment stopped for more than a year. Now, I’m currently working and I want my salary loan to be deducted in my current office. The problem is, I lost my check voucher. What will I do?

Hi applied for Salary laon and it was approved. They deliverd the check into my office lats week September 24, 2009 but I was absent that day because of family emergency. How will I get my check again.

Please let know.

i just received my check today.. and ask ko lang po if pwede ko bayaran ng fully paid after few months..? by the way ung decuction ba na 2400 dun sa niloan ko na 24000 is for 2 months nba yun kasi ung nkalagay na monthly amortization dun is 1500??? bale by april pa lang ba ako mgsstart ng payment nun???

my salary loan is payable for 6 months
but I would like to pay the full amount today,
instead of deducting it every Payroll, is it possible?

how many days to release the salary loan?
co’z ill already filed my SSS salary loan and already approved last October 10, 2011 but until now i didn’t receive my check.
where should i follow my check?
is there any contact number to call for follow up my check?
