Before I ride my car, I check if the tires are okay.
Last Friday, I noticed my rear right tire was soft. Meantime, I just pumped it. When it softened again, I pumped it again. This morning, I had the time to bring my car to a vulcanizing shop to have the tire checked.
The culprit was a 1 and a half inch bolt.
Bad news for Quezon City real property owners.
Last Monday, the city council has already approved the increase of the real property tax by 0.05%. And, the controversial ordinance will be signed into law by Mayor Herbert on October 25.
Under the Social Housing Tax Ordinance, authored by Councilor Edcel Greco Lagman Jr, the increase will be implemented for five years only. The additional fund will be used to finance the housing projects for informal settlers. The new houses will not be given for free to the beneficiaries. And, the tax increase will be returned to the taxpayers after five years of continuous payments.
This means that the real property taxpayers will just advance the money to be used in the projects.

I used to read books - paperbacks and e-books, on my spare time. Since my spare time has become scarce, there’s a limited time to read.
But, it’s good there are audiobooks available in the net. So, if you have no time to read, listen.
The first audiobook I downloaded, copied to my Blackberry Bold 9700 and currently listening to is a war novel entitled “The Red Badge of Courage” authored by Stephen Crane..
Now, I could listen even while driving my car.
It’s been almost two years since I last posted in this blog. And, I miss it.
I’d try my best to post regularly, at least once a week, then visit and comment on other blogs.
Welcome me back!
